Academic Collaborations
Neurimmune maintains a close and highly productive relationship with the University of Zurich, Switzerland.
Neurimmune continued to successfully acquire substantial research grants for the funding of collaborative research projects with academic institutions including the Harvard Medical School, the Massachusetts General Hospital, the University Hospital of Basel, the Max-Delbrück Centre for Molecular Medicine in Berlin, the Barcelona University Hospital and the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience.
Three grants from the Federal Commission for Technology and Innovation (CTI) and two further grants from the Swiss National Science Foundation with an aggregate total volume of CHF 3.7 million were acquired to date. The positive outcomes of the peer review processes in all grants that were applied for demonstrate both the high scientific quality of Neurimmune’s research as well as the convincing models for technology transfer from academia to industry. All publicly funded collaborative projects are generally accompanied by collaboration agreements ensuring Neurimmune’s full and exclusive access to related IP rights.
