Neurimmune today informed that Biogen and Eisai decided to discontinue Phase 3 ENGAGE and EMERGE trials of Aducanumab in Alzheimer’s disease. Neurimmune has partnered Aducanumab with Biogen in 2007. The independent data monitoring committee advised that the trials were unlikely to meet their primary endpoint upon completion. This recommendation was not based on safety concerns.
